The Legend of Zelda Chronology

Note: This Chronology is only a theory, as the official timeline by Nintendo has not been released. There are rumors that the Legend of Zelda series is soon to end, and the timeline may be released then, but for now, this is my theory.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest
2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
3. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
4. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
5. The Legend of Zelda
6. The Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link
7. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
8. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages / The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
9. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords
10. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
11. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

It's obvious that the Zelda timeline is split into two fractions, because at the end of OoT, Zelda sends Link back to the past and because of that, creates another timeline altogether.

From Ocarina of Time? That would mean that all the games that take place in between OOT and the Oracle games are part of a single timeline, and we've never seen the other side.

No, beause the future without Link in OoT had no savior, the Goddesses flooded Hyrule and thus created Wind Waker and its sequel.

lol, we had just been talking about this in my Zelda group. :P Not a bad timeline...Did you ever hear of the "split timeline theory"? It says that the Young Link that Zelda sends back is one timeline, while the the time that adult Zelda remains in, is another. But now I just read the comments, and the first person said just what I was talking about...hrmm, spent all that time writing it, so I'm not going to delete it now. lol Anyway, just type in "Zelda Timeline" on youtube and you'll find plenty of crap. ;p
